Newsletter Ministry

The Connecting Point Newsletter (CPN) has been published by The Special Gatherings for over thirty years. Linda Howard started this newsletter, and she continues to write stories for it. 

 It communicates events, gives people a monthly calendar, an advocacy page, Bible Study, Prayer Page, and activities such as puzzles and a coloring page. 

Our members enjoy receiving this mail, and for some of them, it is the only mail they might get each month. Multiple forms may be included inside the twelve-page CPN, such as the Member Registration Form or Retreat Joy Application Request Form. 

Each month, CPN is printed at one of our sponsor church locations in Rockledge. Following that, it is taken to another sponsor church on Merritt Island where it is folded. On (typically) the third Thursday of the month, a group of fun and fantastic volunteers gather in preparation of mailing them.  It takes about two hours to collate, fold, stamp and sort out the newsletters. If you would like to volunteer with us, please contact us for more information. 

Connecting Point is mailed to over 550 people each month.  The people who receive it are our chapel members, member’s families, local churches and pastors, and others who want to be informed about our ministry.
