Plan on coming to Retreat Joy for a time of Christian fellowship, growth and fun!
Our annual 3-day Retreat Joy is scheduled for 2 weekends each year. It includes Chapel Service and Praise and Worship, plus a variety of activities such as Bowling, Arts and Crafts, Bingo, Basketball, Zumba, Karaoke, Swimming, and Game Room Activities including shooting pool and playing ping pong, as well as Foosball, board games and other fun activities. Additionally, there is Dance With Joy where the Gym is decorated to the hilt and has an official DJ playing all the best music!
One day we go to a Theme Park such as Fun-Spot in Orlando or Andretti Thrill Park in Melbourne.

Retreat Joy Weekend #1
Friday, April 26th – Sunday, April 28th 2024
Transportation from & to Rockledge will be provided
Retreat Joy Weekend #2
Friday, May 10th – Sunday, May 12th 2024
Transportation from & to Vero & Melbourne will be provided
Choose Weekend # 1 (April 26th – 28th) if:
· You are a male and require a straight-in access ramp with no stairs to your room.
Choose Weekend # 2 (May 10th – 12th) if:
· You are a female and require a straight-in access ramp with no stairs to your room.
Side note, we now have a nurse for both weekends
COST: $275 – $300 depending on the level of supervision
Special Gathering Retreat Joy:
Retreat Joy is a retreat for mentally challenged adults and has three different levels of supervision.
1) Independent:
$275 per person. Attendees stay in hotel-type rooms with one other member attending the retreat. You must be legally competent. You are not supervised. You come and go at will. You are treated as any non-mentally challenged adult. You must function independently, including the ability to self-medicate. At Fun Spot or Andretti Thrill Park, you will move around freely. Volunteers will be stationed at each entrance and exit.
2) Low Supervision:
$285 per person. Attendees stay in hotel-type rooms with one other member attending the retreat. You must be legally competent. You may choose your activities, the food you eat and what you do with your time. You must be able to self-medicate. For safety, we will make a roll call check on attendees at each meal and once at bedtime. At Fun Spot or Andretti Thrill Park, you will move around freely. There will be a volunteer stationed at each entrance and exit.
3) Moderate Supervision:
$300 per person. Attendees stay in hotel-type rooms with one other member attending the retreat. You are able to choose your activities, the food you eat and what you do with your time. We will make a visual check on you every hour during the day and administer medications. At Fun Spot or Andretti Thrill Park, you will stay in a small group with a volunteer unless permission is given for you to not be in a group. There will be a volunteer stationed at each bathroom and each entrance and exit.

Scholarships
To Receive a Scholarship for Retreat Joy 2024 You Should Act Now
As you know in the past, Boeing has provided a $50 scholarship for each person who attends our retreat.
The cost of camp to all who attended was kept low because Boeing employees have been kind to us Here is our scholarship policy. We can give the 50 dollar scholarships to the first 50 people who send in their requests for an application. Please check the box if you do not need the 50 dollar scholarship. Please call (321) 632-0130 ASAP if you need a half scholarship.
Both of these scholarships will be on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately, there can be no exceptions to this first come, first served rule.
